Meierotto Midwest Jewelers

When the economy slides into a recession financial assets such as stocks, bonds, and currency suffer the greatest. However precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum tend to increase in value. Have you considered protecting your savings from our tough economic times with a gold IRA?

In this Meierotto Midwest Jewelers review (Also known as Midwest Coin & Currency) we’ll take a look at what this company has to offer and whether or not it should be a part of your investment plans.

Services and Products

Meierotto Midwest Jewelers is a jewelry store as you may have guessed but we’re going to be going over one particular aspect of it: their coin and currency trade known as Meierotto’s Midwest Coin & Currency.

They have an interesting selection of items, here is a list from their website:

  • Washington quarters
  • Kennedy halves
  • Mercury dimes
  • Barber dimes
  • Proof sets
  • Mint sets
  • Gold, Silver and Platinum bullion
  • and much, much more.

It should be noted however that they can’t give quotes via phone or email you have to visit their store in person. Their store is located in Kansas City MO so if you don’t live in the area, you may be out of luck.

Customer Reviews

In this section of our Meierotto Midwest Jewelers review we will take a look at what people are saying about the company so you can get a good idea about how they handle themselves and their customers.

This customer appreciated the customer service at the store as well as the free coffee and jelly beans:

“The staff are friendly and helpful, and I’ve never felt pressured into spending more than I could afford. The store is beautiful, and the coffee and jelly beans are free! Highly recommended!” – Cathy C. from Yelp.com

However this customer claims to have had a bad customer service experience:

“Horrible customer services.  I bought one ring there and wasn’t satisfied witht the fit and they had an armed guard throw me out.  They weren’t even going to let me take the the ring I had already paid for.  It makes the hair stand on the back of my neck just to think about this place.” – Tammy N. from Yelp.com

Here we have an individual hwo enjoyed her experience with the store:

“Best place to buy. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. They take the time to talk to you and provide you with tons of options. They also do everything in house, which is great and convenient!” – Song from Weddingwire.com

For the most part scores for Meierotto Midwest Jewelers are fairly descent:

4.4/5 – Google Reviews

3/5 – Yelp

4.7/5 – Weddingwire

A+ – BBB

Final Verdict

Meierotto Midwest Jewelers seems to be a decent company for the most part. There are some negative reviews and almost all of them involve poor customer service when trying to sell something to them. This could be an issue to take into consideration.

That being said, as far as gold IRA services go Meierotto Midwest Coins & Currency may not be that big of a help. There is no indication that they sell IRS approved metals though I guess you’d have to talk to them in person.

Which bring me to my final point: if you don’t live in the Kansas City MO area, this company won’t really be much use to you. My final score for this Meierotto Midwest Jewelers review is:

5/10
