Gold Valley Review

With our troubled economy more and more people are investing in gold and other precious metals to protect their life savings. If you’ve invested in gold there may come a time that you need to liquidate your assets and convert that gold to cash.

In this Gold Valley review we’ll see if this company has a place in your strategy for protecting your assets from the declining US dollar and rampant hyperinflation.

Service and Products

As you would probably guess from their slogan “Get the most for your gold” Gold Valley is a company that buys gold. Since there are a lot of companies like this out there these days, let’s see what makes them different.

Here is a list of what they buy:

  • Gold – Any Karat
  • Silver
  • Platinum
  • Necklaces
  • Bracelets
  • Rings
  • Earrings
  • Charms
  • Watches
  • Broken Jewelry
  • Coins
  • Sterling Silver Flatware
  • Tea Sets
  • Candlesticks

As you can see, they do buy a very wide variety of items, not just the standard gold jewelry like many places.

So, how do you sell to them?

That’s a good question. Gold Valley has several store locations in Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, and North Carolina which you can visit.

Alternately you can host a “Home Party” where you and your friends get together and sell to a representative. As host you receive several perks including a 10% commission on all sales.

The big question here is whether or not you can do business with Gold Valley if you live in an area with no access to their stores. I didn’t see anything on their website about a mail-in program so I’m not really sure, you’d just have to call and ask I guess.

Customer Feedback

Normally this would be the part of our Gold Valley review where I list the various praise and complaints that a company gets but I honestly couldn’t find anything on this company. There were some advertorials on their website but the most recent was dated all the way back in 2010.

Final Verdict

To end this Gold Valley review I’m going to give the company a score based on what we’ve learned about them.

0/10 – as an IRA option

?/10 – as a place to sell your gold

Honestly there really just isn’t enough information on this company to really give it a fair score. All I can say is that if you live in any of the states that have Gold Valley stores you can go check them out or give them a call to see if they’re right for you.
